2 day intensive hands on workshop learning the skills needed to begin your own hide tanning journey. This is a small group setting so we can give you our full attention and instruction. 
Who is this for?
Anyone interested in bark tanning! No sheep or previous hide tanning experience necessary. 
We will take a salted sheepskin through the steps to the final end product of a beautiful soft sheepskin. 
$250 is your deposit amount with an additional $250 due at the time of the class. If you would like to take home a sheepskin that you work on, it will be an additional $200.
You may not bring your own skin to tan as we will have multiple skins ready at the various stages of the process for each individual.  We will provide a bbq mutton burger dinner on Saturday evening. All other food and beverage will be up to the participants.
Camping and hotel stays near by and we can recommend several great options.
Plan to make a little extra time for yourself here on one or both ends of the class! The Gorge offers incredible hikes, swimming, water sports, art galleries, wineries, waterfalls, museums, fishing and more.
Refunds on deposits are limited to emergency reschedules or if we can fill your spot.
